KIIM ZOLCIAK WINS LAWSUIT AGAINST RHOA KANDI BURRUSS "DON'T BE TARDY FOR THE PARTY" SONG

Drama finally over? Five months after Kandi Burress sued her Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Kim Zolciak for making a profit off Zolciak's 2009 dance single "Tardy for the Party", Zolciak has come out on top in court, TMZ reports.

A judge has officially ruled in Zolciak's favor as she responded with her own legal documents, claiming Burress, 37, used the lawsuit as a publicity stunt to promote her now-canceled show The Kandi Factory.
Zolciak previously asked Burress for help to rework her track "Tardy for the Party" into a dance song. It later reached number 20 on iTunes Top 200. Burress is a Grammy-winning singer songwroter that's behind hits like TLC's "No Scrubs" and Destiny Child's "Bills Bills Bills."
In March 2012, Burruss filed that the mother of four released and sold her song "without [the] plaintiff's authorization, license or agreement." Alongside her rep -- fellow RHOA star Phaedra Parks -- Burress also asked for a temporary restraining order issue to prevent sales of the track.
"I hardly got anything from Tardy for the Party. That is the truth," Burruss wrote in an October 2010 blog post. "I am not mad about it. I really blame myself because I didn't handle my business correctly."
In response, Zolciak, 35, defended releasing the song. "Kandi tried to pull the song down in December on iTunes but after I showed documents and proved points, the song was immediately put back up," she wrote via Twitter.

It appears her lawsuit is also "Tardy for the party", we couldn't resist.  And what did she think having Phadera for an attorney...laughable.
