WANT A PIECE OF THE BIG "O"? OPRAH'S HAVING A SUPER YARD SALE AND WE GOT THE DETAILS

If you’re interested in owning a piece of Oprah Winfrey, here’s your chance!

The media mogul recently packed up a few of her fancy schmancy housewares and is selling them all to the highest bidder on November 2, 2013, but if you think this is all a ploy to for some ‘pocket change’… think again!
The auction of “The Oprah Winfrey Collection” will be held Nov. 2, 2013 at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club and in classic Oprah fashion… all proceeds from the sales will benefit the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation College Fund.
Winfrey’s former favorite things range from a Victorian-style doll carriage starting at $100 to an 18th-century Louis XVI Leonard Boudin bureau valued around $50,000.  There’s a 13-foot-long lime green crushed velvet sofa estimated at $5,000, a rainbow fleet of Jetson electric bikes tagged at $1,000 each and a Romare Bearden fine art print with a starting price of $2,500.

Winfrey hinted at the sale in the March issue of her eponymous magazine when she announced she planned to remodel her Montecito mansion to reflect her “true” style. “The gilded mirrors, marble urns, the lavish carpets and sherbet palette — it was all very grand, but it wasn’t very true to myself,” she wrote.
Fans can bid for the chance to own Oprah Winfrey’s 18th C. Louis XVI paint decorated cabinet, which starts at $7,500.

She’s also hawking plenty of personal memorabilia along with the plaid upholstered chairs and Baccarat angel figurines. There’s a 16-inch photo of Winfrey leaning jauntily on NBA star Michael Jordan starting at $200 and a 68-inch autographed print of her 1998 Vogue magazine cover mounted on foam starting at $1,000.
